Another baby update.....
We had a great appointment this morning. The baby is doing great and the heartbeat is in the perfect range for our stage of pregnancy. We got the results from the first round of our Fetal Diagnostic testing and the results were exceptional. The average risk factor for my age and situation of having a child with down syndrome or other genetic disorders is 1 out of 480, after my blood work screening and the ultrasound test itself - our risk actually came back at 1 out of 10,000 which our doctor was very happy with.
Again, today's exam proved that we have an active little sucker in there as the baby wouldn't sit still at all :) - This is so our kid already!
Our next appointment is May 22nd where we can find out the sex of the baby and no, we still don't want to know - we really want to be surprised. Throughout this whole process we have learned that good things are worth the wait. :)
