Oh, so many updates

Ho hum, where to start......

Keegan went to the Allergist to try to get to the bottom of all of these ear infections and his newly diagnosed RAD which is Reactive Airway Disease - aka asthma but they won't call it that till he's 5..or so they say. Turns out that not only is Keegan NOT allergic to anything, but the possibility of him developing allergies is slim to none. There is an allergen level in our blood that can be measured and on a scale of 1-100 once you have a reading of 70, they start diving in to see what the issues are. Well, Keegan's level was 7! He has been given the all clear to eat whatever he wants to - woohoo!! They tested specifically for animal, plant and food allergies and we got the big negative on all which was really nice. On the other hand, they did a test of his eardrum output and it is only at 10% and completely under fluid :( poor little man. I started getting concerned because he wasn't making any babbling noises, just yelling loud so he can hear himself BUT today FINALLY he made the "Dadadadadadadadad" sound a few times so that was a HUGE relief. So, the outcome of all that was that he will continue on the daily nebulizer treatments and either he will outgrow it, or he won't. We also have an appointment with an ENT who will more than likely recommend tubes and we'll hopefully get that scheduled and over with before our trip to Minnesota.

"What, that's the best you can do????" :)

Aiden started swim lessons a couple of weeks ago. It started off strong - a little too strong if you ask me!! Aiden went swimming with Daddy the weekend prior to his lessons and had an absolute blast. He had practically no fear of the water and stayed in the the pool for about an hour much to my surprise. So that next Tuesday swim lessons started and again, Aiden had no fear. So little that he jumped off the step in his inter-tube and went straight over the front of it and head first in the water, so guess who went in fully clothed to save her son - That's right....This Momma!! Aiden wasn't even really phased by it and ended up having a fabulous lesson. We "walked" around the pool with his hands (hand over hand) and jumped from the instructor to the wall. He also blew a ton of bubbles and kicked up a storm and rode the instructors back as if she was Shamu. So, leave that day very excited and encouraged and come back two days later for lesson number 2 and something in him snapped and he flipped out during his entire lesson. We ended up ending it early because he was crying so hard he couldn't breath - NO CLUE what got into him. Today was a little better, He still cried and complained throughout his lesson, but he actually did the things that she asked him to do and today they dove under the water for rings and Aiden would bring them up. Bottom line = we're getting there....

Sorry it's sideways, but this is Aiden with his amazingly patient instructor Rachel

What else..... MY UNCLE IS MARRIED!!! That's right!! My uncle Rich and new Aunt Karen tied the knot on Friday July 22nd. They had a beautiful ceremony on the beach in Carlsbad and an amazing reception that followed at a local Italian restaurant. We all had a great time there and at the brunch that followed the next morning.

We've managed to squeeze in a couple more Disneyland trips, playdates and even the Orange County Fair in these last could of weeks as well as attempted to potty train which is NOT going well by the way :( ........ Life is busy but we love it! The boys are growing like weeds. Keegan was been crawling up a storm and just this week we introduced finger foods. No, he doesn't have any teeth yet but he doesn't let that stop him at all :) He is really into Cheerios and Sweet potato puffs right now. He's eating like a fiend these days too. He can't seem to get enough. Not that I'm complaining!!

Finger lickin good!!

Are you kidding me with that face?????

Anyway, I thing we're all caught up for the time being. Fingers crossed that tomorrow goes well! Pray for the little guy!
