Spring break is here and it's raining - so not fair! I can't think of a better time to start potty training. I get my game plan in order and clear out the family room where we will be spending the majority of our day. I have about 30 pair of underwear that I am fully prepared to use each and every one of them. I get towels that I am putting on the couch or anywhere else he wants to sit with the toys we picked out together or the movies he wants to watch that he picked out. I also have my reward system in place and the potty seat ir ready to rock. Show time - Let's do this....
Fast forward about 4 hours and I have done 3 loads of laundry and gone through countless roles of paper towels. Day 1 we had 1, that's right 1 successful trip to the potty. Day 2 was much the same and everyone continued to tell me that day 3 was the magic day, well with 20 accidents that day I decided that we weren't ready yet so we will approach the topic again in a could months.

Three day didn't work for us either. I really think it depends on your child's personality. We gave it a few month's rest, and then T started expressing a desire to go in the toilet.
