7 Months

This child never ceases to amaze us. It's like monkey see, monkey do! He's like a sponge right now. Aiden is the youngest child at daycare but so desperately wants to be with the big kids. Anything he sees them do - he wants to do. He has mastered crawling and is pulling himself up steps or anything else he can get up on. He is walking along anything and everything he can get in front of. He likes to walk around the ottoman in the family room. We have officially cleared out the dining room and dubbed it the "playroom". We have it all gated off, covered the wood floor with the foam floor mats and full of Aiden's toys and things to crawl on and over. He still LOVES his girlfriend Lily who is our 15 month old next door neighbor and goes to daycare with Aiden. They are so cute with one another and Sarah (Lily's mom) and I are now walking two days a week - this baby weight isn't going to get rid of itself......I know I've tried :)

Poor baby is teething like no other Oragel is a crock - this child has some of the highest pain tolerance I have ever seen and this is really bothering him.

The most exciting developments this month is that Aiden is clapping and says Dada. Drew and I don't think that he associates Dada with Drew yet but he does yell out Dada. It's really cute.

Two of Drew's brother's came and spent a couple of days with us and it was great to see and catch up with them and for Aiden to spend some time with his uncles and his aunt.

I had a wonderful first mother's day and can't wait to celebrate many more! :)

I feel for you. Gabe is teething right now and he's been keeping us up all night. Take care!
