Season's Greetings!! Wow, time flies! Christmas came and went so fast and so did we. Usually we do one holiday with one family and one with the other but with this being Aiden's first Christmas we thought it was important to see both families and have the special memories for Aiden to look at someday. So, that meant we spent parts of Christmas with both of our families. Drew's parents stopped by on the 23rd for several hours before making their drive out to Temecula for Christmas. Then on the 24th we went to two different Christmas eve services and then spent the night at my parents house (Aiden's first sleepover) and spent Christmas morning with them. That afternoon after Drew made a pit stop at LAX to grab his brother and his wife, we all headed to Temecula to join the rest of Drew's family for Christmas evening. The following day Drew went golfing with the guys before we loaded up the car and headed home for the first time in almost three whole days. That's a long time with a 10 week old. On the 27th we went up to La Mirada for the extended Cox Family Christmas for a few hours before we raced home for a wedding reception. Yikes, I am getting tired just talking about it all again.
All of our gifts were VERY special and we appreciate them all! Two unforgettable gifts are a new laptop complete with a webcam that Aiden will be able to see his Grammy and Grampy and Grams and Gramps as well as his Great Grandparents and all of his Aunts and Uncles on a regular basis. That is so exciting. Aiden also received a family heirloom that his Grampy had as a child and Grammy restored it for Aiden and all of his future brothers or sisters and his future cousins. Check it out...
