Our Weekend

We realized that the chances of us actually getting to celebrate our anniversary this year would be slim to none seeing as we are due two days before. Drew and I decided to make this last weekend "just as a couple" a fun and memorable one. My husband gave me the best gift of all and brought in a "domestic engineer" for me this week so we spent a little bit of time putting things away so she would actually get to the areas that need a little TLC. I think the most fun part of our weekend was going and picking out the clothes we will either bring our daughter or son home in. - wow, that's the first time I have said/typed that I think. Huge reality check just then.

Anyway, we got dinner and wanted to go down to Dana Point to walk around by the hotel that we spent our wedding night at and all anniversaries so far, but the marine layer was so think you couldn't even see the harbor - so instead we went up to the church we were married at and hung out there reminiscing. After that we came home and watched our wedding video and cracked up. What you remember being this magical day is really a silly thing when you watch it after. We loved it. You ask yourself.... "why was that one little item so important to me again?" :) We were in bed by 9:30 - how wild, crazy and pathetic are we???? Granted we did put another movie in, but really I dozed on and off through the whole thing.

Sunday we got up and went to Church and got to meet up with Drew's cousin which was fun and then off to what will probably be our last little date afternoon so we made the best of it and went all out. Of Course it wouldn't be us if we didn't find time to catch up on the football games as well so after lunch we went to our favorite little tavern and caught the end of the morning games and then went home for a nap - Again, crazy..I know :) Drew then went to work and I went to dinner and movie with Grammy to be (AKA Debby). Grams (AKA -Sandy/Drew's Mom) comes into town this Tuesday and we are excited to see her! Our last Dr. Appt. is this Thursday and we are praying for good news like.... you are dilated to 27 or something like that :) Honestly I would be happy with anything more that a 1/2 cm.

Plus I have out grown just about every moo moo I have so going out is becoming challenging as well. This little muffin has gotta be done baking soon!!!
