WE ARE PREGNANT!!!!!! :)

Drew and I are excited to announce that we are expecting our first child in the beginning of October. We were really quiet about it at first because we were dealing with a bunch of issues including a possible ectopic pregnancy, pelvic rest, many weeks of spotting, the flu and awful morning sickness that lasted all day. Our Dr. appointment today was awesome. We first went to our OB and were able to hear the heartbeat (150- strong and healthy) and then went to our fetal diagnostic appointment and taped the extensive ultrasound and watched the baby turn in circles, do back flips, suck it's thumb and moon us - a sign of things to come I'm sure :) We were also able to get a close-up of the precious little face...brought tears to our eyes.

All in all it was a life changing day for both Drew and I. We have been cautiously optimistic for 12+ weeks now and finally have some assurance that things should be ok. It made it that much more real for both of us.

The fun part is that 3 of my cousins are pregnant and we all get to go through it together! First due in July, then Aug, then Sept and us in Oct.
