And just like that we have a 3 year old!!!

3 years have FLOWN by and I feel like a broken record, but it is such a true statement. This sweet little baby that spent the first 9 days of life in the NICU with a horrific infection from a meconium ingestion, then at his 6 week check-up they discovered that he had a heart murmur. We were told that it was very routine and we didn't have anything to worry about. They said that these things have a way of working themselves out. We would keep an eye on it and then it would close on its own..... low and behold, our unique fiery little one had a very rare and unique murmur that requires the closest thing they do to open heart surgery on a three month old They didn't know how this child would develop or grow or even how healthy of a kid he would be and today we have the healthiest, happiest 3 year old. Aiden is in the 107% for height and is an average weight for his age. He weighed in at about 33lbs and is 40.5 inches tall. Not too shabby for a kid with a big question mark over his head. God bless you Bug!! Mommy and Daddy love you SO VERY MUCH and couldn't be prouder to be your parents. We can't wait to see what the rest of your live has in store for you. We know you are destined for greatness!!

Aiden had a great day celebrating his birthday at school with his friends and then we went to the pumpkin patch which we do every year with Mammy and Ga and then we went to have dinner at Ruby's because cheeseburgers are still one of Aiden's favorites. He has a great day!
