Fun in the sun and 9 months

It's been a bust couple of weeks to say the least. Swim lessons are in full effect, still potty training, had an awesome trip to Palm Springs for Mammy's birthday and then Keegan had his 9 month check-up and even another Disneyland trip in.

Aiden has been improving by leaps and bounds in his swim lessons. He is officially no longer afraid of the water and in fact has become quite the opposite - fearless. It's good and bad I guess. He will do just about anything his instructor asks of him after whining of course but he does it non the less. He dives for rings with the best of them and really does love to be under water which is a lot of fun, but he doesn't quite have the swimming skills to swim back to an area if he finds himself where he can't touch so I will have to continue to work of safety skills with him after these are over. Aiden is doing better with potty training as well. He seems to be getting the hang of the peeing part down but poop is still a very foreign concept for him. His potty and his watch seem to be helping a lot.

We had a blast in Palm Springs for Mammy's birthday weekend. Ga and Mammy stayed the week. Drew and Uncle G came out for the weekend and Uncle B came out to meet us as well and then Jess and the boys and I got to stay till Tuesday and swim and play and relax. We shopped, the guys golfed and all of us swam. Both of the boys love the water which is great because I see many hours of playing in pools together in the years to come. We had a birthday dinner at our favorite Mexican restaurant out there and an overall great time.

Keegan had his 9 month well baby check-up on the 10th and his ears checked out great!! Such a relief and and confirmation that we did the right thing. He is a healthy and happy boy. His RAD is in maintenance mode which is nice and he seems to be right on par in his development. We will watch his verbalization to make sure that it moves at a quicker rate now that his ears are open and clear.

9 Month Stats:
