3 Months Now

The three month mark is both very exciting and devastating all at the same time. Exciting in that Keegan is doing great, growing like a weed but devastating in that I have to go back to work this month and I am really bummed to be leaving my boys. Drew has started working for a financial education company doing sales and training which is very familiar for him. That said, we are truly blessed that we have found wonderful people to watch our boys and we are very comfortable with both of them and best of all - so are the boys.

3 Month stats:
  • xxxx
  • sleeps through the night
  • eating about 6oz a feeding
  • loves his jumparoo and still loves his swing
  • laughs when you play peek-a-boo with him
  • very interactive and "talkative"
  • a really happy baby!

Three months and already a jumping fool

Keegan's First day of daycare

He loves it there!!

Aiden is still a loving and doting brother and Keegan has really taken a liking to his big brother. He tracks him all over the room and smiles at him when Aiden approaches. We really can't wait for these guys to be best friends. Fast forwarding to my first day back which ironically enough was Valentines day because what is supposed be be a day of love felt more like heartbreak for me as I felt like I left the two pieces of my heart with my kids. Of course we all survived the day and it was hard to have poor Drew get home so late so we took a big pass on celebrating that day and we'll have a fun filled family celebration next year.

Aiden loves to "hode" his brother

their version of playing together

We are settled into our routine pretty well now. I get up in the morning even before the butt crack of dawn or so it seems, feed Keegan, and then I get myself ready for work and get Keegan ready for daycare. We take off between 6:50 and 7 while Drew and Aiden are still asleep. Aiden's been waking up between 7:30-8 and Daddy and Aiden have breakfast together and then India comes about 9:15 to watch him and Drew goes to work. I leave work about 2:30 and pick up Keeg and head home to relieve India and am home with the boys for the rest of the night. I feed the boys and on a good night Drew is home by 7:30 in-time to give Aiden a bath and put him to bed and then Drew eats dinner and Keegan falls asleep in Daddy's arms. If not, I bathe him and get him to bed and Daddy will come home and sneak in to kiss him goodnight. It's by no means ideal but it's what we have to do for now. Our weekends are more precious than ever seeing as it's really the only family time we really get which is sad but when you think of all the families that our separated by a solider defending and protecting our freedom, we are extremely blessed with all of our time together. God is good and has a plan for us, we're just anxious to know what it is :)

The loves of my life!! ALL my guys!
