Our little Chunky Monkey is 8 weeks old today. Can't believe he's been here for 2 months already. At the same time with as well as Aiden has taken to him I don't think Aiden especially, can't imagine life without him. Drew and I love the fact that Aiden loves Keegan as much as we do. Anytime we see someone Aiden always makes a point of pointing out "Keena" or knowing where "Keena" is. He is really such a proud big brother. He makes a point to say goodnight to Keegan and to tell him that he loves him each and every night. He will give him sweet little kisses as often as he can and he REALLY doesn't like it when Keegan cries. He will go over and put his hand on him and tell him, "you OK Keena." It has to be the sweetest thing I have ever seen. Not only is there not a jealousy thing going on here, but I half expect him to cover Keegan completely with all the toys that he chooses to share or put on top of Keegan. And to be honest Keegan seems to love his big brother too. He smiles when he gets attention from Aiden and seems to follow him with his eyes. He knows the sound of his voice for sure. Drew and I can wait to see them older and the best of friends that they will be!
Drew wasn't able to go with me to this appointment which meant that I was on shot patrol - I HATE SHOTS!!!!!!!!!!!! Keeg was an absolute trooper. He was great with the doctor and would you believe he actually rolled over on the table. Dr. K laid him on his stomach to see how he did in terms of Tummy Time. Aiden showed him that he would rather be on his back and rolled right over on it. Dr.K and I both looked at each other in amazement. We've got another little over achiever on our hands.
