First trip to The Mouse House

January 3, 2010 marked Aiden's first trip to Disneyland. Drew and I were ecstatic to be able to take him to one of our favorite places on earth and the place we were engaged. We knew that Aiden was teething and hadn't had a good weekend to that point and the only way we were going to have a shot of a decent day was to let Aiden take a nap in his own crib and then head out so we ended up getting into Disneyland at about 2:30.

Isn't this always the first picture at Disneyland...

We thought we would break him in slowly so we decided to watch the parade and Aiden was in awe... he loved it and waved to the characters which was surprising. I thought he was going to be freaked out but he did great! We didn't push him on them or make him pose for pictures next to them, but he was very happy to wave and blow them kisses.

Love this picture

Where the magic happens

Biggest tree I have ever seen in person

Loving the parade and clapping for everyone going by

He loved the Gingerbread House

After the parade we made our way back to It's a Small World - Drew's least favorite ride and unfortunately for him Aiden really liked it. On our way we went through Fantasy Land and had to get Aiden some Mickey ears.

It's a Small World transformed to Jingle Bells

loving all the lights

Can't take his eyes off of all the people

After the ride we decided to turn the boy loose on Toon Town. He ran all over every inch of that place and had a smile from ear to ear.....and I chased him with a wet wipes for his hands :)

Pushing every button he can find

HAHA - catch me if you can.....

Ahoy Matey

We wanted to stay for the fireworks and to see it snow on Main Street because it was the last night so we made our way back down to the middle of Main Street to stake our claim till the big show. Aiden fell asleep on and off but was a total trooper. He ended up loving the fireworks and the snow. It was the perfect end to an awesome family day.

How beautiful is the castle at night???

And the tree

Group Shot

Passed out on the tram ride back to the car - he didn't wake up till 7:45 the next morning! :)
