It's October already - that's crazy!!

This month being out 3rd wedding anniversary and Aiden's first birthday. A lot of planning for what we hope is a fun little party and a great memory for him to look back on some day. October is out own little magical month. It's the month we met, the month we were married and the month our first child was born. We are pretty fond of it as you can tell. On Wednesday the 14th which is his actual birthday we will be taking him to Tanaka Farms and visiting the petting zoo and the pumpkin patch and hanging out.

Aiden is now completely walking all over the place. He took his first steps at 9 months old and is now a walker at 11. So proud of our little man. It takes pictures to remind us how small and fragile this tough little dud was. He is now a healthy, thriving and advanced little boy and there is no stopping him now. We will post a video soon but he will walk, stop dead in his tracks, squat to pick something up and start walking again.

This weekend marks the end of some of his previous favorite things. We are officially retiring his beloved jumparoo and his walker. Sadly for us those were pretty much the last two toys that we were able confine him in, but we now have the playroom so that's somewhat helpful.

At the end of September we went to Xander's 4th birthday party at Scooter's Jungle. It was very surreal for me - it seems like he was just born yesterday! Here's a video of Aiden on the big slide which as you can see he didn't love at first but had so much fun on by the time we left.
