Big week for the Cox Family

This was an eventful week to say the least. Aside from it being my last week of summer school and Drew completing his scuba certification, on Tuesday Drew and I became an aunt and uncle and Aiden became a 1st cousin for the first time. Drew's youngest brother Chad and his wife Amanda welcomed their son into the world.

Boston Ely Cox 7lbs even and 19 3/4 inches long born at 9:55pm on 7-21-09

Then on Wednesday our cousins Jeff and Amy Klug officially adopted their new son Tommy from Uganda. It's after a lot of prayer and God's provision that we are so excited to welcome this little angel into the family.

Tommy is 15 months old - How sweet is this picture.... I hope they don't mind me borrowing a couple :)

Finally, Aiden must have either felt left out of all the celebrating or really wanted to do something special for his new cousins because then on Wednesday afternoon, he took his first steps!!! :) He was standing with one hand on the couch and let go, turned and took 4 steps then stopped and sat down - he didn't even fall - this child never ceases to amaze us!
