5 months old and so much fun!!

Aiden has really started to develop such a fun little personality this past month. He is quite a character to say the least. He's a complete ham at daycare and loves entertaining all his little friends there. He is such a happy baby and the ladies at his daycare adore him. They love that he is always smiling and "talking" to them and all the kids all day long. It's such a blessing to know that he is in awesome hands when he's not in ours!

At 5 months Aiden is over 14 lbs..... won't have an accurate weight till our next appt. in April. He is still in love with his jumparoo and has a new favorite toy....one of our old remotes. He pretty much loves anything electronic and tries to get his hands on anything like that in front of him - like a cell phone or game remote or anything else that has buttons and lights up.... especially the computer. His other favorite thing is anything that he can crinkle, shake around and make as much noise as possible like paper grocery bags and he is never alone with them so no worries. Thanks to the suggestion of many, we have also discovered the world's best vibrating teether and he LOVES it! It's priceless to see the look on his face. There was also an event at church and they brought in a petting zoo and several other activities and Aiden discovered how much fun sand can be.

Let's see, he is................
- over his fear of new faces that developed after his surgeries - completely understandable!
- rolling over both front and back
- taking down 5oz every 3 hours or so like a champ
- holding his own bottle
- sleeping decent but still getting up hungry at some point during the night
- absolutely fascinated by the dogs and loves to watch them everywhere and likes touching them
- still has a mini meltdown every night somewhere between 5-8pm but gets shorter and shorter
- slept through the night last night for the first time post-op which is HUGE for his Daddy and I
- has his first runny nose - poor kid...he is like a faucet you can't seem to shut off all the way!
- tries to mimic sounds you make and enjoys being loud and hearing himself yell
- LOVES looking into the mirror - not just to see himself but loves tracking things in the mirror
- can get both feet in his mouth now
- SOOOO close crawling - loves tummy time and rocks on all 4s
- sits in his travel high chair with a little help from a blanket behind him

He has had his first St. Patty's day and his first trip to Tommy's. He also had a visit from Grams and Gramps and has spent a lot of time with Grammy and Grampy. He's pretty much spoiled rotten!! :)

I'm a McCutie!

Love me some Tommy's
