I am not one of those bandwagon moms that has to have the latest and the greatest...if something is trendy I try to avoid it all together - that said, I would do anything to make my son happy (within reason). We have always used the drop in bottles and I love the convenience of them not too mention that I never have worry about the bottle being scrubbed out each time. BUT feeding times have always been on the difficult side for us and seem to take forever!! Our pediatrician kept telling us that his feedings should only last 30 minutes at the longest - um...ours were about an hour so I did something I never thought I would do..... I used a Dr. Brown's bottle. Aiden took 5 ounces in about 20 minutes which was unheard of to us. I clean the darn things out every time I have to if it means that he eats faster, gets full faster and is happy.
On the lighter side... during Drew's ongoing job hunt we came across an ad for babies for an Old Navy print ad. We sent in Aiden's picture and we were extended an invitation for Aiden to visit with a talent scout. So we headed up to LA yesterday for the possibility of Aiden being in the ad. It was a LONG visit - 2 1/2 hours. They taped him interacting with us and spent some time getting to know us and make sure that we aren't dramatic stage parents or that we weren't trying to just make money off of Aiden. We aren't expecting anything to come of this, but it's flattering that someone else thinks that our son is a cute as we do. :) Who knows. After the appointment, Aiden got to meet his Uncle Seanie Mac!! :) Thanks again Uncle Sean!

So glad to hear about your bottle progress!
We used the Ventair bottles and eventually switched to the regular plastic ones you can get at Target. I have to say that the Ventair bottles were great!
