LOOK WHO'S HOME!!!!

That's right - Aiden's in da house!!! Literally :) Thursday afternoon at about 12:30 pm we walked though our front door as a family for the first time!! :)

We have really had a great time adjusting to being home. We are on a pretty good schedule and have our nightly routine has been pretty manageable which is nice that something has been easy for a change. Aiden really is a good baby - despite being sick and acting as a human pin cushion in the NICU, he is really mild mannered and sweet. Now that he is off the antibiotics and the swelling in his face and feet have gone down - he is very wide eyed and alert. One of the things that he was not able to develop in NICU was his quiet alert phase. Every time he woke up he had his diaper changed and was being fed, so being home he has really developed that skill. The last night we were there, they weighed him one last time and believe it or not - our stinker weighs 9lbs 5oz.

When we started the car to come home Daughtrey's song "I going home" and as silly as it sounds, we both got teary eyed. We know how blessed we are to have Aiden home and healthy and thank God for the whole experience. We look forward life with our little one.

We'll keep you posted! :)

He's a beautiful baby, guys! Kim - you look great! Can you believe that a month ago we were both complaining about such agony? Enjoy all of the little moments - even the ones in the middle of the night :)

Yeeee Haaaaaaaaa!!! As they would say here in TX!!! I'm so glad that he is now, finally, home with y'all. I've been keeping everyone in my prayers.

What a handsome tike he is! But, then, how could he not be? It's great that even being sick, he was able to put on weight. Just think, when he's in his teens, he'll be eating y'all out of house and home! GRIN!!!

Enjoy every moment...they grow so quickly.

Love to all,
Aunt Sally
