A HARD WEEKEND

We got a phone call late Friday night that informed us that one of the childhood friends of the Cox family was in the ICU and on Life support and wasn't sure if he would make it thought the night. Drew's brother Bryce and his fiance Jalynn raced out from Arizona and we met them at the hospital a little later.

Larry is 30 years old and had diabetes that was not fully diagnosed. He had a physical a couple of years earlier and they told him that he was on the verge of diabetes, but he never changed his lifestyle - so he is now in for the fight of his life - literally. The doctors are trying to repair the damage to his organs and get him stable.

For every two steps forward, he takes one step back. It was a very emotional weekend for everyone involved. We were able to stay at Kim's aunt and uncle's house on Saturday night and were very hospitable and loved on all of us. As I'm sure you all know - when you are trying to be an emotional rock for a group of people - sometimes you need a re-charge and that's what we got.

Please be praying for Larry and the whole Miller family. They are a very strong and tight family and they aren't going home until he does! So, pray that they find rest and that Larry starts to heal and improve.
